Time to Finish the Table

On today's agenda we have a donated vise and a work table to finish. The vise is a donation complements of Kelli's dad. This was just the vise I wanted to have in the garage. The vise has some wear and tear, so we'll have to take it apart and clean it.

Here is the vise all taken apart.

In no time the table comes together. Extra help from Brian made it easier to work on the vise and assemble the table at the same time.

I seem to have a passion for restoring things.

We used the same materials for this table and made sure it was at the same height. We also put caster wheels on the bottom for easy moving. Now if want to, we can line it up with the wall table to make a T or L.

With new table space available, the new table is suddenly very popular. Mihai steps in to clean up the vise.

With a little bit of elbow grease and lithium grease, the vise is renewed.

At the end of the day, Mihai is working on hanging the metal pegboard he ordered. This is part of his pursuit in workshop organization. It's important to us to have a clean and organized work space. It makes working in here a whole lot more enjoyable.
